Simon (Stealth) is a gentleman who, like me, grew up with Sonic. Through his talents at programming, it led to creating an incredible amount of hacks with Sonic, from Knuckles in Sonic 1 to much-improved ports to what was originally released at retail.
Throughout this episode, we go through his history with this, alongside his work on the Sonic 1 & 2 Rebuilt games released five years ago, to his work on Sonic Mania.
We also briefly touch upon his and Christian Whitehead’s Sonic 3 proof-of-concept pitch, and possible reasons as to why the game hasn’t been re-released as yet.
We then discuss his recent attempt at pitching a Darkwing Duck game to Capcom.
