Siri Shortcuts had its beginnings as ‘Workflow‘, before being acquired by Apple last year in March. It lets you create workflows by commands and different apps, and you can also activate them from Siri itself. Up until its release, I wasn’t convinced. After its release, I was, and I’ve been wanting to learn more about it ever since.
Which is why this week I’m joined by an ex-Workflow member and now freelancer, Matt Cassinelli, where we talk about how Siri Shortcuts fits on his iPad, our wishes for Version 3.0, alongside him trying to convince me to pre-order an iPhone XR.
He also completely destroys a feature that has been a staple of the show for the last few months!
In all honesty, we talk about an iPad for 10 minutes during this hour!
We go from our history with Apple, to what we have in common with our shows, our wishes for a dedicated all in one podcast app, alongside our pie-in-the-sky plans for our shows.
I also ask Tim the most important question: Will Unco and Accessible be offering Stickers for listeners?
This week I’m joined by an Apple connoisseur, the editor of iMore, and alongside many others, the podcaster of Vector, a daily podcast which goes into everything Apple.
A fun time where we went through his history with Apple and writing, how he got to iMore, and of course, what iPad he uses.
A solo episode, where I talk about some updates since the last episode, mainly to do with Crash Bandicoot on Switch, a big thank you to you all, and announcing a Patreon site for the podcast.
Jeff is someone I’ve only come across in the last couple of months, but already him and his co-host of their ‘Slab of Glass’ podcast have made it something you should be listening to.
Hence why Jeff is on this weeks episode!
We go into detail of our workflow with our iPads, alongside our love for keyboards, and where we see iPads fitting in a Marzipan, FaceID world.
