Greg joins the show for the third time, where we talk about his experiences with his new 12.9″iPad Pro these last couple of months, alongside looking to where the device can fit into a ‘Marzipan‘ world.
It’s always a good chat when Greg is around, and the same occurs here, where we talk about some great points we’d like to see from iOS for iPad, from the minimal to the glaringly obvious.
And just what does ‘A refreshed home screen‘ mean? We try to decipher it.
Rosemary is a blogger, programmer and podcaster, who hosts a podcast with David Sparks, called Automators on RelayFM. I had spotted that she purchased an 11” iPad Pro, and thought it only made sense to invite her on!
Living in Austria and working at the Technische Universität Wien, we had a great chat about her usage on the iPad Pro, and how the charging feature is one of our favourites.
Rose also mentioned a great point about how a Switch and an iPad could work together, and I haven’t stopped pondering about it since we recorded!
I start with the two points I raised about someapps not being optimised for the device and keyboard support, followed by a couple of other topics I wanted to address, bluetooth keyboards & zip files.
Something I didn’t mention, but I’m on the hunt for stickers. If you have one for a show, let me know and we can trade!
Finally, I give some updates on the schedule of the podcast for the next month, alongside when I was a guest on a certain show last week…
It starts with me pronouncing Zac’s surname wrong, and it gets better from there!
Zac is a co-host of The Menu Bar, a podcast where he talks with Andrew Clark and the occasional guest about technology and anything else each episode. It’s become yet another series that I look forward to seeing on my podcast feed.
We go from my saga with ordering my iPad, and what Zac has ordered, to AirPower and my idea for where it can go, alongside USB-C, Twitter, and finally games, where we talk about a favourite game (and series) of ours.
