A busy month mostly filled with [freelancing](https://www.pockettactics.com/sony-playstation-handheld-amd-rumor?ref=darylbaxter.com), book work, and *secret project testing*. But there's been so much good stuff in May, that everything I've read, watched, and listened to for the past four weeks has helped make it all a breeze.

After seeing yet more layoffs and sites losing their souls, it's been great to see plenty of independent voices rise from the proverbial ashes of what was there before. There's a lot of good stuff below — so crack open an Irn Bru, take a break away from everything for an hour, and enjoy.
