Second to OpenEmu on the Mac, this is an incredible Gamecube/Wii Emulator that can run 99% of games full speed, depending on the PC or Mac system you own.
I had posted a gaming test three years ago, along with a Dolphin 4.01 post last year, with the MacBook Air running a few games such as Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros Brawl, alongside Bioshock Infinite.
But with this major release, I wanted to come back to it and post some more games running on the same system.
Generally, everything runs smoother. There’s no lag on the games I tried below. Bloody Roar in particular runs a lot faster, as before it would be in constant slow motion.
Unfortunately the Air shows its age when I tried to run both Rogue Squadron games. Both would run, but would instantly slow to a crawl, with ‘Rebel Strike’ faring worse. This is mainly due to the graphics card with its low power, especially with it being an integrated one.
I imagine if I was running this on a Macbook Pro, I’d have almost no issues for those games. Unless it was on the fan-less MacBook.
